Hebden Bridge has been getting creative this summer with my drawing competition at Radiance. Three lucky winners will get their drawings turned into a Hannah Nunn lamp. I wanted to share with you all the entries so far as they are so lovely. The website will be open to take public votes from the 18th of September so I hope you will visit the site and choose your favourite.

I went to the launch of ‘The Bowery‘ last night. A new visual Arts space in Headingley, Leeds. It has a craft gallery, a lovely cafe, two upstairs galleries and a workshop space with an extensive programme of art courses for adults and children. Very exciting.
It’s run by Sandra Taberner who was inspired to do the whole project whilst in the Bowery district of New York.
There are Hannah Nunn lampshades lighting the cafe/bar, Rebecca Stoners sumptuous cushions adorning the comfy sofas in the seating area , murals up the stairs….Sandra has made cleverly made the art and craft a part of the interior. It’s lovely.

Ive got an exciting article in the July issue of BBC HOMES AND ANTIQUES magazine this month. Its a stunning double page spread within an article about women who use flowers as their inspiration. Christine Eldrige, a painter and Ruth Moilliet, a sculptor are also featured. I dare say i even like my own photo! The photographer Rob Whitrow did a grand job!
